Two of Venice's greatest monuments on a single ticket — with no queues, and with the freedom to change your mind: your booking can be modified or cancelled up to 24 hours before your visit.
Begin at St. Mark's Basilica, where fast-track entry takes you past the line and straight inside the "Church of Gold." A guide accompanies you through the visit, so you know what you are looking at as you go: more than 8,000 square metres of golden mosaics laid over nine centuries, a marble floor whose gentle waves record nine hundred years of settling on Venetian mud, and an interior modelled on Constantinople — Venice presenting itself as heir to the Eastern Roman Empire.
You then continue to the Doge's Palace, seat of the Venetian Republic for a thousand years, entering with priority access. Cross the courtyard past the Giants' Staircase, climb Sansovino's Golden Staircase, and move through the institutional heart of the Republic: the Doge's Apartments, the Chamber of the Great Council with Tintoretto's Paradise — one of the largest canvas paintings in the world — the chambers of the Council of Ten, the armoury, and finally the Bridge of Sighs leading to the prisons, where graffiti left by inmates is still visible on the walls.
The ticket also includes entry to the former Royal Palace., the prestigious Correr Museum, where you can walk through Empress Sissi's splendid apartments and the Napoleonic Ballroom, as well as the Marciana National Library and the National Archaeological Museum — four more collections around St. Mark's Square, all on the same ticket.
An audio guide to both St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace is included, so you can take your time and go deeper wherever you like.
